You’ve taken the courses. You’ve created your game plan. You know you can absolutely smash it…

If you could just get out of bed.

As entrepreneurs, our biggest obstacle isn’t the marketplace or competition:

It’s ourselves and staying motivated.

Here are three quick tips I use to stay motivated as an entrepreneur. It helps me move the needle in my business.

Quick Tip 1: Have a bulletproof morning routine

Start off the day with a little journaling, exercise, and meditation.

It’ll give you crazy momentum for the rest of the day. Make this time sacred and don’t let anything get in between your morning routine.

What’s my morning routine?

Well, I love to start off my day… actually, I’ll show you on Instagram:

Quick Tip 2: Have clarity on your vision

It’s so easy to get caught in the weeds and we’re so ready to roll up our sleeves and get it done.

But:

We can lose sight of our ultimate goal.

When you take a step back and focus on that goal and what we’re really trying to accomplish, it’ll give you so much energy moving forward.

If you carve out an hour or two every day just to work on your vision, it’s a consistent way to stay motivated as an entrepreneur.

Why?

Because your mind stays tuned into why you started your business in the first place.

It also helps you reevaluate yourself and challenge you to improve in other areas that need a little work.

Reminder yourself of your core values and mission.

Focus on the big picture and where you want to be.

Make sure that everything you do is aligned with what you’re doing today.

It’s a good way to stay motivated as an entrepreneur.

Quick Tip 3: Collaborate with your team

Let your team know what you’re working on.

When there are people who care and count on us, it can be so helpful to get us out of our own way and really get out there and kick some 🍑.

For example:

When I was trying to get HipCat Society off the ground, there were so many times where I just wanted to stop and give up.

You know what it’s like, right?

Getting a business off the ground is hard!

But my team is what kept me going. Working with other people who:

  • Believe in you
  • Know your why
  • Support you

… they can be the push you need to move forward.

When we can talk to people and share our challenges and fears, it’s amazing how much more information we get back that helps us move forward.

Remember, you’ve got this!

I’m not going to say it’s easy, but if you believe in what you’re doing, and your why is big enough… keep going.

You can do this!

And we’re with you every step of the way.
